Lately

a lot has happened to say the least.

we love having date nights together. every week we make sure to do something no matter what it is. but what we especially love, is when it includes dogs. we volunteer at the rexburg animal shelter and get to spend time by walking the puppies and other dogs that are there. plus it feels good to give service!

during the beginning of august we went to yellowstone 

it was for a reunion on jason's side of the family.

we saw Old Faithful on our first day

yes it is pretty old, but still faithful till the end!

 and saw many Geysers, big and small.

it was a nice little getaway from rexburg for a few days!

 

 

then my brother Emerson came for a week and a half where he got to experience efy for the first time, he loved it so much he wants to come again! we took him to the animal shelter, he really wanted to go. while we were there he played with all of the kittens and then we walked dogs together.
it was his favorite place to be, other than our apartment :)

Wall-E was a massive golden retriever, like a miniature pony.
but he was so lovable and listened really well to any command we told him!

and this is Luna, a little puppy with a whole lot of energy. she loved being walked!

took Emerson to the rexburg rapids. it's not like the Wisconsin Dells at all, it is so small! we decided it is probably one of the smallest in the nation! there is just nothing like the Dells they have the biggest indoor and outdoor water parks in America. I miss being able to go there during summer. but it's fun to be in the water anyways especially when it's hot outside, no matter what you do. they loved the climbing wall!

and they loved the slides they had fun seeing who could make a bigger splash on the way down!
