ONE.

I know that Connor is one now but I still need to document his 11 month happenings, it's all apart of his grand journey throughout life! But, really though, there is nothing that big to document other than him getting two little teeth at 11 months old. So there's his 11 month update in a nutshell! We had been waiting so long for those teeth to poke through. The one on the bottom came through first and then the one on the top came in second. But he currently has almost four!
He is now one years old but it feels like he is really 2 or 3 years old. He is just so full of life, and spunk, and mr. independent he wants to do it himself! I swear he acts older than his age because of the eagerness that's within him but it does pull on my heartstrings everyday. He's growing up so quick! I have loved every stage that he has been through but I'm really having fun seeing him grow and for his little personality to shine through more and more with each passing day. He is constantly trying to figure out how and why things work, let's just say, he is definitely a smarty pants! He is always trying to get reactions from everyone around him, such a comedian and a little flirt as well! We have to be careful when we go out, I'm just kidding! But really though he flirts with the ladies and he knows what he's doing, one girl even told him that when he is bigger to come find her to go on a date! A little awkward yes, as Jason and I were right there but also funny! As you would all imagine, he is a big basketball lover and you know who has been the biggest involvement in that ;) I offered him a football while we were at the toy store and he was not thrilled. Not even one bit. He saw the basketballs and went nuts. I should have recorded it, because it was hilarious and a full body reaction! He is his daddy's sidekick that's for sure. He plays with all his little basketballs and bounces them and puts them into his basketball hoop. Sometimes he'll even do it one handed and Jason always says, "nice dunk!" Then Connor claps his hands with joy because he did it! Jason is having fun this month because it's March Madness and he is teaching Connor all about it, and they watch the basketball games together. Connor is not interested in any other show (including the baby ones) only basketball. He'll start talking away to the t.v while he is watching. It really is so cute to see Jason and Connor together, they are the best of pals. It just makes my heart so happy.
Connor is a guru for yogurt, especially Chobani Greek yogurt. On the days where he is more hungry he'll eat two for breakfast. He does not like any of the Gerber brand baby food snacks or toddler food. He realizes when he is having it and pushes it out of his mouth, so he's grown out of it for a long time now. He eats his veggies and fruits like a good boy and can be willing to try new foods that we offer him, so far he's loved it all! But mashed potatoes he is still not a fan of, one day he'll figure out the yumminess! We started him on Whole milk the week of that he turned one. He made the transition from formula to milk all on his own too so that made our job easier! It was like one day he was just done with formula so we were like alright, that was easy enough! Such a good boy. He goes crazy for bath time and loves playing with his bath toys and to make big waves. He is standing up for a good long time and shows signs for walking but he is not quite ready, and don't mind :) when he's ready it'll happen. Until then I'll keep enjoying him while he crawls! He goes up and down the stairs as well. He says momma, daddy, nana (he says this when he gets a banana too), duck, and ball (ba)
At 12 months we weighs 24 pounds and is 33 inches tall.
He is one tall little guy who just keeps growing like a bean stalk, he can thank his parents for that!

And stay tuned for the big boy birthday party post
but for now enjoy a picture update!

Connor was our best Valentine :)

our valentine's date was to a fancy black tie attire restaurant.
loved dressing up and loved the food! we went to Bartolatta's located on
the lakefront of Lake Michigan, it was a chilly night but that didn't stop us!

oh you know, just saving his dinner for later no big deal!

the most divine chocolate chip cookies, they are not healthy at all but soooo good!
for dinner one night I made pork chops with sautéed asparagus, served with rice.

he loves his big boy seat. we put him in it at 10 months because of how big he is!

he was so sad when this ball didn't come home with us.
If only he knew what was awaiting him the next day ;)

splish splashin' in the tub!

My mom and I went to the Milwaukee Domes and had a blast looking at all the plants. There are 3 domes, a tropical, desert, and garden. It was a fun little outing with granny Laurie!

Connor loved all of the trains!
