What's new you ask?! Let me tell you...

Wow, there is already so much going on, and July has just barely started!
Connor turned four months old on July 7th and we had his appointment earlier this week. He now weighs 12 pounds 5 ounces and is 25 1/2 inches long, and his head circumference is 40.5 cm, he is a long string bean and growing so fast. His pediatrician said we could start him on rice cereal and baby food. Really he said we could give him anything that we eat, peanut butter, ice cream, meat, basically if you can think of it he can eat it! Expect the only thing not allowed is honey. We of course have not given him this much yet, just rice cereal and pears, and boy did he go to town! He ate it right up! Along with his shots we also found out that he is teething. I asked his doctor to check because he had been just a lot more grumpy and feisty, and he does not normally act like that so I could tell something was up. Plus he was showing signs of teething as well. The top two middle teeth are coming through and within the next 2-4 weeks they should have fully descended down. This will be lots of fun! He is still sleeping through the night like a champ even when he is in pain, it really is such a blessing! He loves his Bumbo and his play mat. Grabbing anything and everything in his reach has helped him figure out how to get the wipes out of our hands! He rolls over all the time now, and started rolling over on his four month birthday of course. For some reason he wanted to be officially four months old to do so! He laughs, smiles, and giggles at anything funny. He is in 3-6 month clothes and size 2 diapers. His upper thighs have the cutest/tiny leg rolls. He may look tiny still but he definitely feels like a sack of flour. More recently he tries to break free out of his car seat and bouncer he does not like to be strapped down, he wants to be a free ranger! He loves baths, daily walks, and reading time right before he goes for bed. He will grab at the pages and try to help us turn them to the next good part. He loves learning and figuring out what is going on around him. He does this by putting everything in his mouth or by looking at what we are doing. He loves holding onto his burp cloth and pacifier and his little basketball. Basically we just love him to pieces and have so much fun watching him grow up right before our eyes! Seriously though, where has the time gone? I look back at pictures from when he was born and he has changed a lot, grown, and developed into his own little person with a big personality!

An update about us now. Jason will be graduating and walking at the end of this semester. I am officially an online student now, I'll graduate in 2015. I love that it's all online, it is just what I need to still be able to obtain my degree. And then we will be moving to the good old dairy state, also known as my hometown, Milwaukee Wisconsin. Jason has some job opportunities already lined up there and we actually hope to stay located within the midwest for grad school, and, well for the rest of our lives hopefully! If not we would like to live in North Carolina. But when it all boils down to it, we will go where the job takes us. We are just wanting these places first. There are many changes coming up for us and we are quite pleased to have opportunities to learn and grow along the way.
Things to look forward to: graduation, Ellsworth reunion in McCall Idaho, Emerson staying with us for a week and a half, Park City in August, and then moving the end of that month!
There is so much to look forward to!
Here are a bucket load of pictures:

He is enjoying the vanilla ice cream that I fed to him before he had any solids! I know, but I just couldn't wait plus he loved it and I wanted to share!

We prepped him in his bumbo the night before to see what he would do in it, and he loved sitting up!

Enjoying breakfast with us and eating his yummy food like a champ!

Man after a good long time, I have officially updated anything and everything and posted every last possible picture! Now you know what is new with us Dimonds!!
Happy Wednesday!
