What a lovely time we had adventuring back home for a while!! I would have to say that it was a much needed trip :) We started off our trip with going to Minnesota for the first open house! Sherrie really did such a beautiful job on everything. And even included recees peanut butter cupcakes/ carrot cake cupcakes just for Jason! Might I add that both moms spoiled him with food meaning that he was well fed ;) We all piled down there and enjoyed the hot humid weekend together with Jason's family! We then had a whole week in Wisconsin and spent it celebrating my Mom's birthday, getting ready for the next open house, and just plain relaxing! We swam most of our time home, played in the sun, spent lots of our time with Abigail and Emerson hanging out together, and of course played with the dogs. Emerson loved hanging out with Jason, it is great that Emerson and Abigail have a big bro around instead of just me! So they hung out a lot!! We also got to play with the newest addition to my family, Abigail's puppy Luna love good, she is just the most sweet and precious little thing ever! Samson and her are even starting to get along better!! We definitely got spoiled from our receptions, that's for sure! The open house in Wisconsin was held at my Mom's. It was beautifully decorated indeed, and a big thanks to all of my sweet family for all their help! Our backyard had two tents set up which is something that my Grandma Rosie had always told me to do at my reception, and I did that in memory of her :) We had lovely food, wonderful people surrounding us, which created a sweet environment. My mom is such an amazing woman, I sure do love and appreciate all her hard work to create such a special event for us!! The best part of our whole trip was seeing our families and friends enjoying the precious time we have together. We don't have the chance to go home as often as we would quite like to, mostly because we don't live as close. So we definitely took the opportunity to be with our family as much as possible! The last time we had seen everyone was our wedding, which is crazy!! The week and a half went by fast and that's probably because we were such busy people, having way too much fun!!!
